Mail-in consignment means you never visit a store. You request a prepaid FedEx label, pack a box and drop it at any FedEx location. We handle everything after that: receiving, steaming, photography, listing, selling, shipping to the buyer and paying you monthly.

The label

Request it on our consign page. There is no upfront cost. The label lands in your inbox, and you can use it from any FedEx location in the United States.

The box

Keep it under 35 pounds and under 24 by 24 by 24 inches. Bag the clothes in plastic first; it keeps weather out in transit. Tape the center seam three times and run tape along the edges. Send one piece or a full wardrobe: there is no minimum and no maximum.

When it arrives

You get a confirmation the day the box reaches us. Every piece is logged, steamed, pressed and photographed. Allow two to four weeks from arrival to listing. You can watch each item in the consignor portal.

How it sells

We price each piece from our own sales records: 1,247 Zegna pieces, 729 Canali, 593 Brioni and thousands more. Half of the Brioni suits we sell go for $185 to $295; every house is on our price table.

Pieces list on eBay as Buy It Now with Best Offer, in 30-day cycles. If a piece doesn't sell, we adjust the price each cycle until it does. Select pieces also go in our showroom. If you won't part with something below a figure, tell us before we list and we hold it there.

What it costs

Our commission is 30% of the first $500 of each sale and 15% of anything above. On a $500 sale, our commission is $150. On a $1,000 sale, it is $225. eBay's own fee on each sale passes through at what eBay charges. The full terms are in the consignment agreement. If an eBay buyer returns a piece, that is ours to handle.

Getting paid

Settlements go out monthly, around the 10th business day, for everything sold in the prior period. Zelle or check, your choice. Balances under $20 carry forward to the next month.

If you change your mind

The consignment period is 180 days and renews on its own. You can take any piece back at any time. A retrieval fee covers the work already done: $10 for an item listed under $100, $20 over $100, plus return shipping.

Menswear only, in excellent condition. Suits, sport coats, overcoats, shirts, trousers and ties. Pocket squares, dress shoes, watches, wallets and bags. High-end streetwear and denim too.
