What brands do you accept?

We work exclusively with luxury menswear. The houses we most frequently see are Brioni, Canali, Zegna, Isaia, Kiton, Tom Ford, Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli, and similar. We also take a genuine interest in vintage and unusual pieces, as well as high-end streetwear and denim.

What do you accept?

The full spectrum of luxury menswear and accessories: suits, sport coats, overcoats, dress shirts, trousers, ties, pocket squares, dress shoes, watches, wallets, and bags. We also accept streetwear, including hoodies, denim jeans and jackets. We focus exclusively on menswear and do not accept women's or children's clothing at this time.

What condition is required?

Excellent pre-owned condition. We review every piece individually. Anything that does not meet our standards is returned or donated per your preference. The most common issues are moth holes, high shine from improper dry cleaning, worn sleeve elbows, frayed collar points or cuff edges, stepped-on trouser cuffs, and lining stains. A careful review before you pack saves time on both ends.

How does it work?

Request a prepaid label on our Consign page. Pack your items at your convenience and drop the box anywhere FedEx is accepted. Everything from that point forward is handled entirely by us: receiving, inventory, photography, listing, and fulfillment.

Question 6

How should I pack?

Accepted Answer

Keep the box under 35 pounds and no larger than 24x24x24 inches. Anything over that may incur additional shipping fees. Place items inside a clean plastic bag before boxing. It protects against weather in transit. When sealing, use more tape rather than less: three strips across the center seam and additional tape along the edges. Your items should arrive in exactly the condition you sent them.

How long before my items are listed?

From the day we receive your box, allow two to four weeks. That window covers receiving, detailed inventory, steaming and pressing, photography, and listing. You will receive a confirmation the day your box arrives at our facility.

How are items priced?

Accepted Answer

Every price is set based on current market conditions, recent comparable sales, and the specific condition and provenance of your piece. Our interests are entirely aligned: the higher the sale price, the better for both of us. Items are listed on eBay as Buy It Now with Best Offer in 30-day cycles. If a piece does not sell, we adjust the price each cycle until it finds the right buyer. Select items may also be listed on our website.

How long is the consignment period?

180 days from the date we receive your items, renewing automatically unless you request your unsold pieces returned. There is nothing required of you if you are content to let us continue working on your behalf.

How do I track my items?

Accepted Answer

Through the consignor portal, accessible with your unique login and consignor code. Every item, its status, and its sale history are visible there.

What happens to items that do not meet your standards?

Accepted Answer

They are returned or donated according to the preference you declare on your consignment agreement. You choose at the time of submission. Nothing is disposed of without your direction.

Is there a limit to how much I can send?

Accepted Answer

No minimum, no maximum. We have handled single-piece consignments and full executive wardrobes across multiple boxes. Send what you have.

Question 13

What is your commission structure?

Accepted Answer

30% of the gross sale price on the first $500 of each item, and 15% on any amount above $500. On a $500 sale, our commission is $150.

Can I set a minimum on specific items?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If there is a piece you are not willing to part with below a certain figure, note it before we list. We will hold the item at that floor. We will tell you honestly if we believe the number is above current market.

What is the payment schedule?

Settlements are issued monthly, on or around the 10th business day of each month for all items sold during the prior period. Balances under $20 carry forward to the following settlement.

Can I retrieve an item before it sells?

Accepted Answer

Yes, at any time and for any reason. A retrieval fee applies to cover the work already invested: $10 per item listed under $100, $20 per item listed over $100. Return shipping is at your expense.

Am I liable if a buyer returns an item?

No. Returns are our responsibility entirely. We maintain a strict no-return policy on all consigned pieces. In the rare event eBay requires a return, we relist immediately at no cost to you.

Why consign rather than donate?

Accepted Answer

A Kiton suit and a department store blazer look identical to most donation centers and are priced accordingly. We know the difference. We know who will pay for it. Consigning means your pieces reach buyers who understand their value. The proceeds come to you.
