A used Kiton suit sells for $290 to $600. A used Zegna suit sells for $70 to $190. Both figures are the middle half of what we actually sold, and the gap between them explains most of the resale market for tailoring.

Each cell is the middle half of our sale prices, with the number of pieces sold in brackets. One quarter sold below the range and one quarter above. "Few sales" means we have sold fewer than five, so we publish no range. Figures as of October 2026.
The top of the table
Tom Ford leads on suits at $635 to $1,205, on only 10 sales. Kiton follows at $290 to $600, then Purple Label at $250 to $510. These suits sell on the hand work and the name together. Buyers search for them by name, and they pay for the right size.
Cucinelli sells outerwear
Brunello Cucinelli overcoats bring $825 to $1,365, the highest range of any category we publish. Cucinelli sport coats bring $355 to $605, above every other house on the table. Cesare Attolini overcoats sit close behind at $495 to $800.
Volume keeps the middle honest
Zegna is the house we sell most: 1,247 pieces. We have sold 729 Canali. That supply keeps their prices grounded: Zegna suits at $70 to $190, Canali at $110 to $275. Both are well made and sell steadily. They are rarely scarce.
Isaia suits bring $150 to $300. Oxxford, cut in Chicago, brings $125 to $225 for suits.
What moves a suit inside its range
The house sets the range. The piece decides where it lands.
- Size. Across 1,102 of our suit sales, a 46 and up brought a median of $150. A 40 to 42 brought $100. Common sizes compete with every closet in the country.
- Tags. New with tags: median $190. Worn: $115.
- Cloth. Super 150s and finer: $175. Standard 100s to 140s: $100.
- Condition. Moth holes, iron shine, worn elbows and frayed cuffs pull any suit to the bottom of its range, or below it.
